Diesel Mechanic

Our post-pandemic growth has left our company looking for an all-around mechanic part time, to join our team. We own and operate a fleet of party buses and mid-size coaches.

Must be proficient in the following:

✓ Diagnostics and troubleshooting

✓ Repairs and general maintenance functions including but not limited to tires, brakes, belts, hoses, fluid changes, suspension, engine and drive train on vehicles.

✓ Maintaining a clean and organized work area

✓ Working knowledge of basic repair shop machinery

Nice to have:
✓ Inspections and corrective actions per DOT and DPU standards

✓ Electrical troubleshooting and repairs

✓ Understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations

Requirements include:
✓ Must be 18 years of age
✓ Must have own tools (within reason for the position)
✓ Valid Driver’s license (CDL preferred)
✓ Reliable transportation to and from work
✓ Licensed to work in the US
✓ High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
✓ Ability to work flexible schedules including shift work, weekends, holidays and on-call rotations for roadside assistance
✓ Positive self-directed attitude
✓ Ability to work within a team environment

An Ideal candidate will possess most or a combination of the following:
✓ 3+ years’ experience in a shop environment or combination of education/certification
